La Fontaine Stravinsky

580 square meters of shallow basin
are home to sixteen sculptures created by sculptors Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle. Located on Place Stravinsky, next to the Centre Pompidou, in Marais, this whimsical public fountain is paying tribute to the acclaimed Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. The moving and water spraying works of sculpture were inspired by the musician's works, especially his ballet and orchestral
concert work "The Rite of Spring".
